Renting out shelfspace
Just been chatting to a shop owner, who sells gifts, such as custom made jewellery, fancy wall art etc - she is renting out some shelf space in her shop, and was telling me how well its going, I thought this was a great idea, and wanted to share it with you all.
She rents on a basic rent plus small comission basis.
Great way to expand your range, without the effort of locating stock. And bring in a few no pressure pennies from the rent.

I think working together at the moment is a very important thing to do.
Working together is crucial to provide new opertunities and sales avenues especially in retail.

Re: Renting out shelfspace
has anyone ever dabbled in subletting?
I currently have a workspace where I keep all my stock, but have grown out of this, but I am stuck in to a contract for another 18 months.
My current landlord is happy for me to sublet, but has another unit available on the same row, so I am considering turning the unit in to either a small open plan office, or in to two contained offices, and renting out.
Any tips on this?
Do they usually come offered as furnished, phones, web ? etc
