Battery Freezer trick, does it work?
My laptop has reached the point in life where after pulling out the power lead, I struggle to make a cuppa before it dies.
Someone mentioned to me, if I remove my battery, pop it in the freezer for 24 hours, leave to defrost 24 hours, it will be as good as new, sounds a bit dubious to me.
Any one tried this or have tips? - A new battery is £79 at PC World!

Sounds a bit risque to me, if any water gets to your battery, it won't work, if any water gets in to your laptop, £79 is a small price compared to £400 for a new laptop.
